My career has been defined by an intersection of disciplines that rarely converge: computer science, academic research, software engineering, entrepreneurship, and large-scale technical production. As a researcher, developer, and founder of multiple businesses, I’ve spent my career transforming complex ideas into functioning technologies, scalable operations, and real-world experiences.

My entrepreneurial journey began at an early age with the creation of Clik Entertainment, a company that evolved from a technology-driven entertainment venture into an established provider of professional entertainment and event services. Building upon that foundation, I founded Operation Glow in 2012, developing a nationally touring entertainment experience that combines music, immersive technology, and large-scale audiovisual production. In 2017, I established Massive Audio Visual, expanding those capabilities into comprehensive sound, lighting, video, laser, staging, and technical production services for universities, corporations, municipalities, and organizations nationwide.

Leading these companies has provided me with an unusual combination of executive responsibility and hands-on engineering experience. Beyond business development, strategic planning, and organizational leadership, my work involves designing sophisticated technical systems, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, overseeing complex logistics, and managing projects where precision, reliability, and execution are critical. This experience has reinforced my belief that exceptional technology is defined not simply by its capabilities, but by how effectively it solves practical problems.

My background in software development has remained central to that philosophy. Over the years, I’ve designed and developed applications, websites, internal business systems, automation tools, and interactive technologies addressing challenges across multiple industries. In 2026, I founded ShowDesk, an AI-powered customer relationship management and business operations platform developed specifically for the event production and service industries. Drawing upon years of firsthand operational experience, ShowDesk brings together intelligent automation, project management, asset tracking, resource-based quoting, and business collaboration into a unified software ecosystem. The venture represents the convergence of my experience as both a software engineer and an entrepreneur who understands the operational challenges technology is intended to solve.

Alongside my business ventures, I’ve pursued an extensive academic foundation in computer science and engineering. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Business from Knox College and my Master of Science in Software and Systems Development from DePaul University. I’m currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science at the University of Cincinnati, where my research focuses on human-computer interaction, information visualization, and collaborative computing.

My doctoral research investigates how people construct, interpret, and communicate visual information, particularly in collaborative environments where individuals possess varying levels of technical expertise. This work explores the relationship between human cognition, interactive technologies, and group decision-making, with an emphasis on making sophisticated data exploration more accessible and effective. As part of this research, I’ve developed interactive visualization systems, including VizSync, which explores new approaches to audience participation, shared visual exploration, and AI-augmented presentations. My research experience also includes work with Procter & Gamble’s Digital Accelerator, connecting academic investigation with industry applications.

What distinguishes my professional experience is the ability to move between theoretical research, software architecture, executive leadership, and physical technical execution. I am equally comfortable investigating how humans interact with complex information, architecting a software platform, developing a business strategy, or directing the technologies and teams required to execute a large-scale production. My qualifications also extend into specialized technical disciplines, including certification as a Laser Show Safety Officer, reflecting the breadth of engineering, operational, and safety considerations involved in my work.

Beyond my professional ventures, I value education, mentorship, and community engagement. I’ve participated in academic and industry conferences, contributed to collaborative research initiatives, and supported nonprofit and educational organizations. These experiences reinforce my commitment to applying technical knowledge and entrepreneurial resources in ways that extend beyond commercial objectives.

Today, I continue to balance doctoral research with software development and the strategic direction of the companies I’ve founded. My work remains focused on advancing intelligent technologies, strengthening the relationship between humans and computing systems, and creating businesses that translate ambitious concepts into practical, lasting solutions.
